""They're our players. It's going to take some serious amount of cash to get any player out of this place now unless we decide to recycle players. The players won't dictate whether they leave this football club at this moment in time."

Do you think this is about Haynes? Hopefully he'll keep to his word.

Yes Haynes, but reading that it could also read the right amount gets him.

That's what I was thinking. I'm wondering if somebody has asked to leave too.

I can't see anyone else attracting attention. Unless a League One club wants to strenghen its squad.

I think they are preparing us for when we sell him, I'm sorry but I do. They will sell in order to bring in their own players.

Who will be from League One.

Because when there's no pay on the Day support that's all we will be able to afford.

You could be right there. Having listened to Hill's interview on the OS, I've changed my mind a little and am a bit more cautiously optomistic that we can hang onto Haynes. Hill says there are no truth in the rumours, no contact from Agents and none from Haynes himself.

Was that the pre-Forest game interview that they've just put up under the heading of pre-Saints game?

If not, do you have a link to the right one?

    Every player has a price

Barcelona would sell Lionel Messi if they god the right offer for him, it could be well over £100million but they'd sell.

Hill will have a valuation on Haynes, and I feel nobody will come close to whatever that valuation is, because I think Hill believes Haynes is crucial to this team in order to improve, you've to remember, he's still only 23, he's probably a couple of years off of his prime.

Agreed Archey, everyone has a price. If someone wants to offer us a million+ for Haynes then we'd sell.

If Leics come in with a sensible offer, then he's gone as they're the Man City of the championship at the moment, silly wages, but he'll hardly be in their first team.

    And whats "recycle players"?

Maybe we are going to turn David Preece into Compost! ready to be used when the pitch starts to become bare, we can spread him on the pitch and re-seed.
I mean surely that is the only way he will be of use to the team this season!!

( This is a joke post)

The link was broken for ages, a quick Tweet sorted it out and the link was fixed. like you, I found it really frustrating when the link was wrong, however, now it's working it's an excellent interview and well worth the wait.

I know a large percentage of football fans are stupid but do me a favour..............

They won't be leaving the club becuase.........most of em are ***** and no one would want em....... and if by chance someone puts in a reasonable cash offer for someone......whoever that may be...they will be off alright....pronto.

A sensible offer to our club is a bag of peanuts so get ready when someone offers 100k, Don's eyes will light up. They'll be having a "player" jumble sale before the court case.

    So you keep saying.

So if Haynes goes for more than we paid, say £500k, what will you think then? That's just a bit more than 10 bob and a blackies egg?
