One of my favourite things to cook is a west African stew with sweet potato and peanut butter. Ever since I got the recipe I've been addicted - spicy, sweet, smooth, nutty, warming. It's spectacular. To answer the question, can't beat oxtail.
I'd forgotten all about that. Used to absolutely love it but haven't had any for years. Definitely on the list for Mrs Burgundy Red's next shopping trip (I'm too posh to shop myself). Love a nice wonton soup too.
The hot and sour soup form the local takeaway is lovely. Thai Tom Yam - how they make something that looks like dishwater taste so amazing is a mystery. There's a food van that comes to a market near work every Tuesday - the home made oxtail form there is out of this world - nice big chunks of oxtail in it. My own homemade carrot and ginger - pisses all over any carrot and coriander, especially the **** in cans.
Heinz Tomato soup eh.. that makes things more understandable.. sugar rush and all that.. lol http://www.telegraph.co.uk/health/h...-alcohol-and-tobacco-warn-health-experts.html
