Let's just get one thing straight. Gordon Shepherd, the board, Patrick Cryne, Simon Davey etc...they've invested some money this summer for players - they are building a team for the future. Trust me, we won't sell anyone. There's no need to. Sure, if we were 15 million in debt then we'd probably offload our best - but we aren't, we've had a good season last year which will have brought in some good revenue (which showed in the investments made in the summer) and we are looking to build a strong team for this season and the coming seasons. You don't do that by buying an entire group of players, getting them to gel and then selling them. Don't read into anything the papers say.
RE: think we may be still £3 to £4 mil in hock to the bank. nt I was under the impression that Patrick Cryne had cleared those up. Not to mention the fact that we stayed up last season resulting in more money from the FA and SKY?
"Trust me, we won't sell anyone." OK, thanks for that. I was a bit worried there for a minute, but now I know Poet has said we won't sell anyone I know we'll be reight.
trust me i wont march on poland was the words from a certain mr hitler, never trust anyone who says" trust me"
RE: think we may be still £3 to £4 mil in hock to the bank. nt cleared up-I think not-it is an interest free indefinite loan-but we would like to pay it back and own the ground again I would think?
