Been looking through a couple of Red Rain's reports and although very detailed, concise and well put together it is surprisingly negative. I notice that in the recent one the line up is not right, but having covered their games I have a different slant. If you are looking for a last away win I would say that in Preseason, a team made mostly of scholars were tremendous and last week behind closed doors Reuben was the best man on the field and that was with first team players on show. It is a little disappointing to see young kids be so heavily critisized. There is some really good talent there and we need to support them not slaughter them.
Don't you think your posts could be viewed as remarkably positive considering the current state of the club and the results both at first team and youth level?
Why is it a yawn? It is a question I wanted to know the answer to. If you don't want to tell me fair enough but I find your answer a bit silly and pointless to be honest. I just wondered if you were paid by the club to put the reports in the mag, that's all , not hidden agenda or anything, but obviously you have something to hide. edited to remove bad spelling
Put it this way. I watch the academy games and often they play against teams with internationals and second year scholars compared to our main first year squad. The year makes a huge difference and these kids do not needs us tearing them down when they are just starting out. Also, just because we can vent our views on a bulletin board, there is a danger of having an over-inflated view of our own opinion. If everyone is so good I would suggest getting a coaching badge and get into management.
Think you should have a look closer to home pal on that score Every time i have bought the paper there has been quite a few things incorrect. I take it you don't have a proof reader for the paper cos if you have they want sacking
In the end I wouldn't like to think your impression of these lads is from what the review is but see them yourself.
