I think he thought it was a Premier League game and he’d just leave it to VAR to decide. Either that or he’s just been operating in under 11’s football where the Lino only gives throw-ins. All in all, terrible officials.

Poor ref for me tonight, worst this season and I'm not on about the penalty decisions (appeared correct to me on the Norwood one, but seen those given. Theirs looked nailed on.) I just think he lost the plot bordering on Macnallyesque. Wanting to be the centre of attention. Poor in general throughout the 90 mins. (Thought the ref monday had a good first half then made several errors 2nd half for what it's worth) .The standard of refereeing this season has been poor in most games imo, some exceptions.
Not awful at all - but slating someone because of their gender, which is what you did repeatedly on Saturday. You attributed the referee’s performance to her gender. Several times.
I just saw the highlights. Their penalty was a joke, an absolute joke. He actually stops and clatters into Mads. The balls gone, embarrassing.
Improvement on Boxing Day but not by much. The penalty tonight was more one than the one the other day. He had to send Duff off because his 4th official told him whatever was said, so he can't be blamed for that.
weird innit how opinions can be so different. I just watched it back and thought it was a stonewall pen. clumsy and the ball had gone, but he definitely makes contact for me. on a separate note, I love how Norwood 'heads the ball' as it comes into cundy for the 2nd
I’ll have to watch it back but at the time it felt like Anderson stopped his run to avoid contact & the attacker did the Grealish trick of initiating the contact & giving the ref a decision to make. I don’t necessarily think that the ref was against us, it just felt like he was the type to let a lot go & wasn’t interested in our forwards trying to buy fouls. Let’s be honest, they’re our players but some of the ways Cole & Norwood flop to the floor is pathetic. Likewise Cadden pretending twice that he’d been whacked in the head by the opposition.

Not very ridiculous when you realise that al referees are trained by the same organisation. The ref last night was absolutely atrocious. If that makes me sound ridiculous then so be it
