Has anybody wondered why he changed his mind at the last minute? QPR isn't exactly the dream move he wished for by all accounts, yet its still better than Barnsley. Don't you think BFC have to take a share of the blame in that? Sounds to me like desperation on his part.

In any negotiation I reckon each party have to accept their responsibility for the out come. You don't know what indications the club has given to Nardiello about his role in the pecking order compared to what QPR were offering, the money could be quite different, and lets face it, if we want to secure players - you offer that little bit more, try that little bit harder and you tie people to longer contracts. It's risky though. To say it's all Nardiello's fault is a bit blinkered. Even so, sounds like he's been more than a touch 'under the table' about this QPR deal.
yes i agree totallly,if bfc wanted to keep him bad enough they could have done, now our striking options are a totally unproven peruvian and odejayi who may good or not, building up to new season bfc are showing the ambtion you have come to expect from them, lets face it nardiellos goals got us up and kept us up
How can you blame the club when after negotiations Nardiello agreed the terms and was happy to sign only to change his mind at the last moment.
bfc should have made an improved offer at the last minute,he was by far our best striker now hes gone to a very very average championship side, very shoddy bfc
so the club should bend over backwards for a player who only turns up for half a dozen games a season,if the clubhave done anything wrong,it is togive the w*nker this long to make his mind up,b*llocks to him, he's no great loss.
it was abvious we were his fall back, he agreed the deal with us verbally, drove upt to qpr and c what they had to offer, if they had offered him a poor contract we would have been ther for him to fall back on
nah simply not good enough from a club who are supposingly making consolidation in the championship a priority, best striker gone like that coupled with in my opinion poor/cheap and unproven signings pre season, just what you expect from bfc really
well said monkey boy who gives a monkey's ar*e about Nardiello.
Use the money to buy quality defenders. That's DEFENDERS.

One person that perhaps has been overlooked in all of this is his Dad. I believe at one stage he acted/still acts as his agent. It's obvious what's happened. Coventry move falls through - 'Yes, I will therefore sign for Bransley'. Dad gets late late deal with QPR.
RE: well said monkey boy glad its all over - we can now move on without him bet we finish higher than QPR ! does leave a sour taste in the mouth way he has handled it though (N)
RE: well said monkey boy how much is that bet for? Nardiello will score more goals than Odejayi, I will bet on that one!!!!!!
RE: NO don't damn the Club How did the Club let him down?
He was offered a contract which he verbally excepted.
If my bit of legal knowledge is correct a verbal contract is still a legal contract. Even if it is difficult to enforce.
Perhaps the legal boys on here can clarify that for us?
Nads didn't inform the Club he wasn't happy with the contract he had told everyone he had excepted.
He even emails Laura and tells her he's staying at Oakwell.
He leaves the manager and Chairman hanging around for half the day and then turns tail and signs for QPR.
He has let the fans down, BFC and also has done his reputation no good what so ever.
He has shown he is not an honourable man and that as a human being his word can't be trusted. He is still a young man and I hope he realises that this will follow him around for the rest of a relatively short football career.
I wish him well for the future and would just like to say to him what comes around comes around.
(wicked)
