......... ordered that SKY multi room last week and got Sky+ thrown in for nowt.

Bloke comes out today and his job sheet thingy doesn't mention the multi-room bit so he puts my sky+ in for me and I have to wait in again on Monday morning for the rest of the job to be done.

But the worst bit is, I've got a TV in my sons room, and even though the Sky bloke never went near his room/TV, all his channels have disappeared and I can't tune ANY channel back into that TV!!

So why does having Sky+ fitted in the living room affect the 2nd TV in the kids room and how do I get his channels tuned back in?

Only thing I can think is

That your aerial has a splitter and the signal goes to both your son's room and the living room. Somehow, when your man was fitting the Sky+, he knocked the aerial lead and it's come loose.

    I didn't want it mate ...............

......... I rang Sky to change my phone and broadband over to them cos it was cheaper than BT and Orange, and they told me I could have the multi room and Sky+ installed for £49 as I now had everything else with them, thought it was a good deal but wish I hadn't bothered nar!

I've checked all the cables and they seem ok ....

..... thanks anyway, I'll get the sky bloke to sort it Monday, it will be ok anyway when he fits the extra sky box in my lads room I would think, unless the tele's fecked, shouldn't be though, only had it a month!
