Wilkinson was highly though of, until Davey came along. He has got a great worldwide contact networkyou know , Davey that is not Wilkinson. Obviously we dont want to keep a man that can spot good player in this country do we , not when we can travel the world and sign the travelling band.

Fair point, although he was at Leeds and got relegated with them, would we have been unhappy at his signing given his previous team if we'd got him and not Fulham.

Davey is working his arse off to make our Club competitive

We simply cannot afford to bring in players such as Cresswell and Blake etc on the wages they have been on.</p>

If Davey thinks he can make us more competitive by looking overseas, then I will back him 100%.</p>

We really cannot afford the likes of Blake, Cresswell and all the other ex Prem players we have been linked to.</p>

We are a club with limited finances, recently out of Admin, trying to consolidate our place in the Championship and move on from the struggles of last year.</p>

I for one think that the Club is seemingly moving in the right direction.</p>

I have every faith that GS will not allow the Club to mismanage the finances and as for Davey, well, we have to trust him to bring in the players he feeels we need to make us stronger and more competitive at this level.</p>

let's give him a chance. along with all the players and get behind them.</p>

IIRC, he can do those juggling tricks nearly as good as Nathan Jarman.

Davey is doing his best to promote himself. Trying to prove that he knows whats best.
Wilkinson has unearthed some gems for this club. I am yet to understand how bringing in players from overseas,just cos you can, is a better way forward than finding talent in this country. I seem to remember that it was Wilkinson that was getting the praise for bringing Ferenzci here too.
The players we have brought in from abroad were not even getting a game for the last sides, excepting Mossto, Werling has had a lot of clubs and no-one has ever paid a penny for him and his side was relegated and he never played for them . Brouma hardly got a look in at Rotterdam.
Odejayi has only scored about 30 goals in his career and we got on Richards back!!!!.

I will give my support for Barnsley FC till the day I die but , some things are happening that are a bit fishy.

We cant just keep on swapping every player each time a new manager comes in, we have been there and done that before(Spackman, Parkin etc)
