Just watched the highlights from the official site, Richards' reaction after he scored was very strange. If it was a reaction to his likely departure, then he's obviously unhappy, which makes it all the more remarkable that he put in what has been widely regarded as one of his best performances for The Reds. Now that the transfer window has closed, and we've signed 2 Hungarian strikers, Richards' position looks bleak, I wonder how he''l react?
I'd like to think Richards starts with Nardy tomorrow-Hungaro's on the bench
Richards and Nardy work their nads off to be the number 1 pairing and score 1 apiece
Hungaro 1 and/or 2 comes on with 20 mins to go and scores the third in a 3-0 drubbing of Cardiff
well I can dream can't I??

I think Richards will always give 100% in a game, whatever his personal views or state of mind. He's just that type of guy.
We still need back up We've now got the Hungarians, Richards, Nardi, and Coulson. They've always told us Coulson needs another year or two, so in effect we only have two back-up strikers. I can't understand why we'd get rid of Richards but that's what the club wants. How do they already know that our best strike partnership isn't Richards + 1 Hungarian? What if it is? Will they still say he's surplus to requirements? Given our requirements are that strikers score goals, and Nardi's scored in one game this season, how isn't he surplus?
RE: We still need back up If neither of the Hungarians start tomorrow night, then i would be disapointed.
I would like to see Nardiello dropped for tomorrow. Which would mean starting with richards and rajczi. Rajczi should have had a few days training with the team now, the new one will not have had enough time.
