...had a bit of a cooling down after watching that 'performance'. here's my ratings, for what they're worth... not a lot, i know.

Colgan - 6 - ok, so he let three in, but did nowt wrong really.
    Hassell - 5 - hopefully just a blip
Eckerslike - 5 - for someone who moaned about the type of football in the championship his passing was awful.
Reid - 5 - too many silly errors.
Atkinson - 6 - best of a bad bunch at the back.
Mattis - 6 - can't for the life of me understand the stick this guy gets. works hard and gets a few niggles in, which i like!
Howard - 6 - not the best today.
Devaney - 4 - mom!?!!? what?!?!? useless i'm afraid. must be dropped for someone who gives a toss. anyone, judging on today.
    McCann - 5 - poor i'm afraid.
Pete - 6.5 - like the look of him (stop that!!) will bag quite a few, if he gets any service!! make it a 7, he passed to kyle reid!!
Richards - 5 - for a big lad didn't win many headers. should have been subbed sooner

Reid K - 6 - is he invisible? what does he have to do to get passed to?
Steve - 7 - should start next game, won a few headers which made a nice change for us!!

You're having a laugh, surely. He jogs around a bit, mainly away from the ball.

    He does not link play.
He does not even get involved in play.
He does not look for the ball.
He does not know where to be to influence play.
He is so far out of his depth I almost feel sorry for him.

Wherever the ball was today, he wasn't. He has no football brain. His inclusion is a bit like saying to a goalkeeper who is the only player left on the bench - "go and make a nuisance of yourself".

In fact, we would have been better with a goalkeeper in the middle.

I was watching the clock on the scoreboard and counted over 10 minutes towards the end of the first half where he didn't have a touch. And this is the guy who is supposed to be controlling the middle of the park. ffs.

There was one moment that stuck in my mind, where McCann picked it up on the east stand side near the touchline, and needed to make a simple pass infield to keep the move going. Mattis was right where he should have been, waiting for the pass, but instead he turned heel and ran off to the 18 yard line. He has not got a fecking clue. He may be able to jog around for 90 minutes but that is not, in itself, what makes a footballer.

It is no coincidence that we played a little better for a while when he went off - that is because we suddenly had 11 men on the park, instead of 10.

i never said he was a world beater, but to slag him off when devaney and richards were on the park seems a bit unfair.

And another thing - I know it all about opinions, and I may not hold a majority view here, but there is no way that Devaney was the worst player on the pitch, which your marks seem to suggest. I thought he did try today, but there was no support from anywhere when he was closely marked, and double marked in most cases.

    Colgan did nowt wrong?

Apart from give them the 1st goal.

Should have picked it up - there is no way the ref would have called the deflection a backpass.
