    He was before my time but I've seen enough footage to know he is an all time great player. RIP.

    If Eusabio was a Brazilian we wouldn't have heard all that much about Pele

    Eusabio at his best was the best in the world - unfortunately he played for a national team that wasn't that good at the time - which is in contrast to Pele who was playing in the best team in the world during that era

    Have you seen Pele's goalscoring record Nudge? It's phenomenal. Eusebio being in the same team would not have had any impact on Pele's status.

    According to a lot of brazilians Pele isn't even the best brazilian to have played the game. His record is bloated by not playing in tough leagues.
