    It wasn't the build cost it was usage cost. They didn't have it because it costs so much to run. £50k a game I think.

    I can’t remember when it was, but one year, we travelled to Rotherham about 6 times for a cup match and the game was postponed each time as we were on our way there.

    Yes but snow came down heavy after that didn't it. Roads in Barnsley went from clear to almost impassable in the space of around 15 minutes

    That's pathetic from them. The sort of thing you'd expect to see from smaller teams with old grounds, not a championship side with a state of the art new ground.

    I don't know really. Every time out games are called off its because the surrounding roads are dangerous. Seems a bit daft wasting money putting in undersoil heating if it can't be used really
