Worries me that Keith seems to want attacking left backs regardless of their defensive ability. All very well in a top side but unfortunately we aren't and our centre halves arent good enough to get away with it.
giggling at the fact that reuben told me his worst position was on the left and his dad says 'he can play anywhere forwards. In the middle is best then on the right but anywhere up front' and our Keith puts him in the completely opposite corner of the pitch, on his worst side in defence. Next week: Luke steele up front and Hassell in goal.
Exactly. Why not play him up front instead of Dagnall? Or perhaps stick Dagnall at full back? Keith still hasn't found his marbles, it seems.
Its time on the pitch, whats people problem. He played people all over the place at NYS. Fitness is the only thing.
Maybe we'd be better off putting him up front and Daggerless can play at left back then. You never know, he might actually realise that he's a defender which would explain why he's **** up front.
Reuben is the correct spelling. You've just scared the life out of me, my two week old son was registered today and we have spelt it Reuben like the bible and RNL, seeing your post header then l've just thought "****, I've spelt it wrong on the birth certificate!!"
They may well be for fitness, but what about the getting used to each other as team, the patterns of play, the positional play? We are seriously undercooked. Why bother at all with friendlies, they can get their fitness from training. Considering the friendlies are played at a pedestrian pace they can't offer much benefit anyway. Don't know why they bother, thank **** I haven't wasted any money going to any, they have got a cheek charging for them.
They can only get so much fitness frim training. Pre season games it gets stepped up and then proper up again. When you listen to most players/ managers they normally say 5 games min until they feel 100% fit.
