Sam Byram

Going for around 3.7 million apparently, and his contract is up in the Summer. I know we say it time and time again, but what a bargain Everton got with John Stones. Leeds' fans still moaning though that it isn't enough, deluded

 

He's played 100+ games in the championship at 22. He is worth more

 

With 5 or 6 months left of a contract?

 

Sam Byram's a good player but nobody knows the deal we'll get for Stones.

It's likely Barnsley will get double the fee mentioned above for Byram.

Let the Stones stuff go. Why are people still bitter about it in 2016. The deal was done 3 years ago.

 

Leeds would offer him a deal of equal value to the one hes on so it'll gone to Tribunal

 

They only get compensation for players under 24. By the time it runs out he'll already be 23. They base the tribunal on how important he is to them, how much he would earn, etc etc. Should get no more than 4m!

 

But we have 15% sell on. If Stones goes for £50m, £7.5m for Reds + £2.2m we got up front. If that happens £9.7m Stones and £3.7m for Sam Byram... Floors to argument

 

Unless they ask for a similar sell on clause obviously.

 

That relies on Byram being sold for £50 million. If he is then it's fair enough Leeds make more out of him than Stones.

 

Or Stones stays at Everton until the end of his contract and we get what we got. It's all imponderables really.
