aye so poor that in the last five minutes he was closing down on the edge of their area... the ball was played forward by Preston and who was tidying up in our box ? Sam was.

If he could pass he'd be an absolute top class player.

Didn't think I'd ever say it but..

Johnson needs to come back in unless someone is signed.

You should NEVER say that

Johnson is /poo , he cant run, cant pass the ball forward(ok neither can Togwell), he commits more fouls than any other player on the pitch, he also cant even get on the bench because he cant stay out of the boozer.

Togwell is a likeable player. He will run all day and is as honest as the day is long. However what really lets him down is his distribution. He needs to learn to play the easy ball and ensure that we keep possession once he wins the ball.

De Silva was playing this role very well ( apart from the Hull game obviously) and we now need to someone to fill his shoes. I don't think Mccann is the answer so I think it is a straight fight between Sam Togwell and Andy Johnson. Togwell is clearly Daveys favoured option at the moment but he will need to improve his passing to keep his place in the team.

I don't Tina, I think he is a good player and if he gets a run with the current players he'll do well

Sorry.

But he did seem to keep things on the ground though.

Hate to say it but after todays performance i don't he's good enough, seemed to be chasing shadows for much of the game. We need a more defensive midfielder who is quicker than Togwell to partner Howard.

I used to think the same at the beginning of the season but Togwell doesn't look the player he seemed last season.

No offence to Toggers haters but were you at the game today he never stopped working.
the lad has got a good engine and is alot quicker than any other options we have (Johnson/Mccann)
Togwell always as gave his best for the club when ever hes played. You always get 110% from him.
He was one our better players today as Howard was hardly involved at all and seemed to have been marked out of the game.
