Sit back invite players onto you, don't close players down and the end result will be defeat. For gods sake try an learn from what does not work. It's how it is at the moment.
I thought LJ said he would make sure the players are extra fit so they can close the opposition down a lot more. Doesn't seem like it though.
At the time the Appointment of LJ certainly steadied the ship culminating with 5 or 6 wins on the bounce. Relegation after the defeat at Crawley last season was a distinct possibility. As to whether he proves to be successful time ultimately will tell. Get the Full back situations sorted as well as another forward and I have seen enough today to think we can make progress. Mawson n Roberts have the makings of a solid defensive pairing.
You stated nothing ever changes. I asked why then were you so sure it would by changing a manager. That amused me no end but them I'm a happy clapper I'm easily amused.
I stated nothing ever changes in the context that we always sit back and invite pressure from the opposition. As regards changing manager it had the desired effect and we stayed in the Division. Keeping the former manager would have been disastrous. The powers that be at Oakwell seemed to feel the same. Who knows if LJ will be a success. I hope so but as sure as night follows day if the product is dire, results are crap then you don't need me to tell you what the outcome will be whether you or I like it or not.
We would have stayed in the division either way. We won 4 games out of 15 under our new manager performing worse against teams than we had earlier in the season. It still doesn't click that sacking your manager = a clear out= a massive step backwards repeat until we hit the conference.
