The easy option for Harris was to condemn violence and bad behaviour from any football fan. He didn't have to speak about Millwall. His next question statement has raised the attention (negatively) against him especially after the hostile atmosphere comment.

By the way, don't the Millwall fans have any songs?

Just the two. And one of those is just a long syllable.

He works for a club that sells merchandise with "no one likes us" on it, thus the higher ups at the club seem to revel in their bad reptuation. I wouldn't expect anything to be done.

Think its policy during the actual game same as with streakers to deny them publicity and notoriety. Course then they show it in the news!

I just find them to be a bit weird really. I know they'll have plenty of decent folk supporting them but there's so many brain dead morons that drag them down.

Before the game they were hanging around pubs designated for Barnsley fans looking for trouble, me & my mates were abused but none of us reacted to it. Why weren't they with their own fans in their pubs enjoying themselves? It's not like Wembley happens often, make the most of it.

And they don't even sing, they just make an annoying noise that makes them all sound a bit backwards. Haven't they got any songs? Morrison's a club legend isn't he? None of them thought up a song for him?

The annoying thing is most of our lads who are the type who'd fight them were probably in the singing section. I'd imagine most of the fans in the upper tier were there with family? And older fella's wanting a better view away from the rowdy ones? I was below it & I could see loads of women & kids running to the left of me. Anyway they're a disgrace & they need punishing severely.

I'd like to think we'll never play them again but that's pretty unlikely.

They just don't seem to get it. Football crowds. One set of supporters make gestures and aim chants towards the opposing set, particularly after a goal. The other set give it back, particularly after an equaliser. Back and forth that goes, simmering for 90 minutes, then everyone cools down and fcuks off home and only very occasionally does that posturing escalate to anything worse. Millwall, however, seem unable to keep that lid on the pot, seeing opposition fans making gestures towards them as ABSOLUTE justification to physically attack them, irregardless of the make-up of those fans. Countless threads on their ***** forum where the poster genuinely believes that Barnsley fans "giving it large" (a phrase they seem to enjoy) makes their physical assault completely vindicated.
Some weird, and not a little warped, psychological flaw at play there.
