    Don’t recognise those lyrics ......
    Lady face the morning sun
    The sunlight in your hair
    Northern Lady, you're the one

Why do you mean so much to me
    I need you every night
    Northern Lady, you're the one

If you need me, I'll be there
I'll fly right back to you
    Northern Lady you're the one

Will you use your head tonight
    And come into my room
    Northern Lady, you're the one
    You're the one

    Lady face the morning sun
    The sunlight in your hair
    Northern Lady, you're the one

Why do you mean so much to me
    I need you every night
    Northern Lady, you're the one

    Northern Lady, you're the one

Seems a close cousin of the equally questionable "She'sabigteazer!". Problematic! :(

I do, used to watch them at the Civic Hall, they had a large union jack behind them as a backdrop and Bill Byford used to pick his nose and flick it into the crowd

    Sheer raw power and noise

    Great days

Biff Byford was in the Nash one evening when I called in after an away game at Crystal Palace. He took the piss out of my BFC tracksuit top which I ‘got’ from Norman Rimmington.

Seemed particularly amused by my sewn on badge which said ‘Barnsley - Kings of the League’. Cheeky ****. I’d have smacked him but couldn’t get near for the groupies (male).

If I'm not mistaken, Metallica were largely influenced by Saxon.

The film Spinal Tap was based on their story I’m led to believe.

Yes, I think "Coast" was another name as well. Uses to watch them regularly playing at Changes pub.

Coast were a three piece that Biff and Quinny were in. When they joined up with Dobby Dawson and Graham Oliver they started calling themselves Son of a Bitch. An early concert staple of Saxon's was the song 'Bap Shoo Ap' which had its origins as a Coast tune - I can remember lamp posts all around the Town festooned with stickers saying 'Bap Shoo Ap With Coast'!
