    According to Radio DeeDa Sean O'Dreary is the bookies favourite, and Mansford refuses to confirm or deny.
    Please not another one from the managerial merry go round.
    Why don't we have the bottle to appoint someone with some new ideas, someone to whom the players can relate, not just another has been that's looking for a short term pay off!
    Surely it's the right time to bring in someone younger with need to succeed, not just to go through the motions for the usual 18 months or so.

    I'd be devastated if he got the job.

    His personality just isn't the right fit for BFC.

    8/13 favorite with Sky Bet - I really hope he doesn't get it!

    I only listened to Burton's interview this morning and he seems to have the right attitude, as long as he can get the players putting some effort him. I'd rather us appoint him!

    I hope Ben takes that stance with every manager linked, and I think he will. I don't see the circus that went on before we appointed Flitcroft happening again.

    I can think of worse appointments, but plenty better too.

    Ben suggested "Sean has a very good job with the FA" or summat earlier. Polite way of saying he int getting it.

    Ben wouldn't be stupid enough to appoint him. It will just be a case of him staying quiet on any name mentioned, so people don't have a shorter list to guess from. Would be another nail in our coffin to appoint him. It would be like Newcastle with Pardew. If he gets appointed there would be money to made from buy the www.sacksod.com web domain.

    At one stage he was 1/10 before we appointed Flicker, the betting proves very little to be honest.
