Am I right in thinking the Wolves job was up for grabs before he took the Forest job? or at least at the same time. If so, why wasn't he appointed then, and why does everyone assume he'll be appointed there soon, afterall for the time being they've got a manager. He either didn't apply, or wasn't chosen, what makes next time any different?

It's the little piggies at radio Deedar Paul Walker and Fat Seth Bennett that keep saying he won't take the reds job cause the wolves job may come up soon but Rob said on football heaven tonight that he thought if offered it he'd probably take the reds job cause he needs to work like the rest of us. personally unless he's been told by someone at Wolves that the jobs his in the next few weeks i think its a red herring and he'd take the job at Oakwell if it were offered

He was manager at Crawley during the summer but was asked to take charge of Forest by the new owners as he had been a coach there at the back end of last season. Therefore it is unlikely he applied for the Wolves job.

Whether he'd be on their radar or not now having seen a foreign gamble fail is another question.

I tend to agree. If we offer him the job he would take it but if he had the choice of us or Wolves I think he'd take the Wolves job. Whether Wolves would want him is pure speculation at this stage.

I like him he is oragised and organises from the back so we may stop leaking goals. So that gives us a fighting chance up front for dome goals. he likes playng a holding player n front of the back 4 which we have players that can do a good job at that. he likes a mix of experiance and youth which we have. I think he would do a good job but we need to sign him on a long term contract and accept that it may have to get worse to get better because a whole restructure may be needed.

I reckon he'll end up at wolves mate and rightly so. Supports them, born in Wolverhampton and they're not going down.
