So my mate is trying to renew his season ticket online. He's paying it all in one hit instead of doing the finance agreement. He is certain he has the funds, not least because he only got paid today. He is certain he is inputting the card details correctly. He has contacted his bank and they are okay with the payment. Yet every time he inputs the card details, it is telling him they are wrong, and he can proceed no further. Is it the website? Is it him? Has anyone else had a similar problem? Cheers.
That could be the case as I've had that problem where because it's new a card they got in contact to make sure the transaction was made by me because it's hundreds of pounds.
Make sure the 'card type' is correct in the drop down box, I've had a problem before where whenever I entered my details, it changed the card type option for some reason and didn't go through. Took me a while to realise what was happening.
This happened to me other day...was declined first time by my bank (Halifax)....had to verify it then wait 10 mins before i could try again. Went through fine second time.
