Obviously if their injured they go back to parent club

But what if we think there not performing

Can you send them back without paying the full loan agreement

I believe you can send back, but may be wrong. I'm sure there have been cases where it isn't working out for one or both parties and they've just called it a draw.

    You thinking Wilkinson ?

Without re-opening the loan debate, the types of loan signing I can't stand are where we borrow someone else's 'fringe' player instead of blooding our own 'fringe' player.

probably one o them things, where if it's just not working out for all concerned, all parties will prob just chalk $hit on it.

We sent Brek Shea back but we were still paying his wages until the loan deal was supposed to run out. Be a bit harsh to send Wilko back- after all he scored on his 1st start, played ok at Scunny, almost scored as a sub at Millwall and didn't really have a chance to do anything against Bradford.

Could add Rothwell to the list as well.

I think you can send them back at any point but their may be financial penalties & it might make a mess of your reputation in terms of getting other loanees to your club which wouldn't bother me to be honest.

I'd send Rothwell, Crowley & Wilkinson back immediately if I could. Nothing to do with ability in Crowley & Rothwell's case, just that to play them you either have to drop one or more of Scowen, Hourihane, Williams or Pearson or unbalance the team

Depends what kind of contract we have signed them on. Sometimes they can be recalled, sometimes not, sometimes they can go back early, sometimes not. Depends. Can't they play in cups etc. looking at the announcements of the signings I would suggest the contracts are till the new year.

Plus LJ said he would love to turn all the loans into permanent deals so no chance he's going to be sending anyone back unless they get recalled.

I can't see Townsend being happy sat in the stands on match day, unless we are buying him he'd be the one to go back IMO
