Be fair, it's a 'sport' for computer and engineering nerds to get near fit lasses they don't have a chance of boffin (Ross Braun et al) and for 'celebs' to wander about a stretch of tarmac being fawned upon by Martin Brundle. The cars go really fast though. And goober gets a Pussycat Doll.
Agreed, it's about time the BBC dedicated more time to showing quality sporting events such as this http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-22837902 rather than showing tedious racing.
Not a fan of it myself, but it kicks the arse out of horse racing (now that is *****, they don't even lap each other)
That's pretty much what most North Americans think of football though. Each to their own and all that.
Proper It's almost as awful as football. Take your pick... Bernie Ecclestone or The FA? Vettel lapping everyone or Man Utd cruising to the title? Farcical tyre situation or players going down like they've been shot? Both proper rubbish. As is everything. Name me one thing that isn't rubbish.
Very funny and indeed you are right, sir. I was putting on my English head as opposed to my North American head when I wrote that!
How many channels do you have to pick from these days - even if you dont have sky it must be around 50 and you are complaining that once every 2 or 3 weeks there is some motor racing on - just watch summat else. Personally I think Eastenders and just about everything on BBC3 is a waste of license payers money but I just dont watch them
