I'm just sitting here watching the other half and her daughter trying to figure out how to use an electric sewing machine they got for Christmas.
Given that the instructions are very badly translated from Chinese and are for a different model of sewing machine I'm just wondering how busy A&E will be at this time of night.
I'm not trying to assert any sense of intellectual superiority here because I've sat more than once in the past wondering how the hell electric sewing machines work and can only assume they operate by magic.
    :)

If you have a satisfying grin on your Face ID watch out. That trip to A&E might be coming your way.
    Best lie low.

Quick update on that..we did figure it out, it does now work, and churtonred avoided A&E by the happy circumstance of me not having read this thread till now :)
