took my lambs to the abattoir this week, so rare breed welsh lamb for tea. Plus, just got news of my promotion through, so a nice bottle of something fizzy to go with it!! my round folks
guilty as charged They were bottle fed pet triplets - cute spotty jacobs My daughter, disapproved but cleared her plate.
You'll be sorry when you come home one day and she says 'Daddy I've cooked your dindins' ........................and next doors cat is on your plate!
It's just a short step.

If that was a pro-cat comment........ As a conservationist I am all in favour of a national cull of domestic cats. Their population has increased dramatically over the last two decades and is known to be contributing to the decline in small birds populations. More significantly cats have also been implicated in declines in frogs, small mammals and reptiles. On a global scale they are the single most important cause of extinctions of birds. Having said that, lethal fox-traps are illegal in the UK and you can rest assured that next door’s cat was very much alive when I let it go. Next door is a mile away and their cat has not bothered us since.
No I just dont get it You have fox killing your animals, so you put out a live trap, and a stupid cat is daft enough to walk into it.... why does that make me an arsehole?
RE: If that was a pro-cat comment........ He didn't hurt the cat in any way (I presume). A fox trap is basically a steel basket with a sprung trap door in it. It causes no harm, but I imagine the cat wouldn't want to get caught in it again.
RE: No I just dont get it The way you worded it makes you sound an arsehole. You could have said 'Unfortunatly nextdoors cat got trapped by mistake' But you seem to take great joy in the fact that you where responsible for its possible death & because you don't like cats its ok. I don't like Asians but i'd never set a trap in my garden incase 1 accidently walked into my garden
you pressume correctly I dont imagine it had a great time in there. But it was only caught for a few minutes And the trap was in my chicken run!!!
RE: If that was a pro-cat comment........ Having said that, lethal fox-traps are illegal in the UK

Maybe the Cat got lucky eh??

RE: If that was a pro-cat comment........ Maybe it did, if you want to read it like that. But that is the way if you have got animals/livestock to protect. Or is it ok for the cats to kill?
I do get it when someone who says "I don't like Asians" calls me an arsehole. How many millions of people have you just dismissed. End of!
