short memories at Barnsley

Disco has been a great servant to this club, a no sulking, hard working player. He has a fair amount of talent, if not great pace. The couple of bad games he's had recently have been more than eclipsed by some of his displays last season. He's a touch off form. But hopefully him and Whalley can really fight for their place. Even so great person (either one) to bring on for half an hour running at a tired defence. Most fans seem to give him the credit he deserves. Hence the ovation. Wish we would clap more of our players off. Makes them want to play for us.

We get the best out of Disco when he comes on later - Super Sub.

Can't fault his effort or commitment while he's been with us. He always gives his all. I would love him to be a hit in this league but sadly, the ability is lacking and we need to step it up.

Cracking Squad player to have as were McCann and Togwell, but I reckon if Whalley does well we'll sign him in January and the Disco will burn down.

agree totally, disco has been great for us and always gives his all and some of the abuse he gets, and i dont just mean on here, is shocking. I had a guy sat behind me at donny slating everything devaney did blaming him for things that were not his fault, and even when other players made mistakes that was no problem. </p>

Disco is a top bloke who always gives his all, if we have a better option then by all means drop him but never be critical of the guy he brings a lot to the squad</p>

If you want to know why he's called Disco, then think back to Walsall away which sealed our play off place. Don't think I have ever managed to see a player waste time and keep the ball in the corner flag area so long with such fancy/effective footwork.

All hail Disco and I for one thank you Martin for everything you have brought to this club. Long may it continue.

Devaney, top bloke, grafter, die for the cause, enough is made of how contracts are cheap and players are not loyal anymore, well loyalty works both ways.
Here's a crazy thing............we'd miss Disco more than Howard .
