    They may have been cleared but has any action been taken against the people that put them in that situation, and those that operated the construction industry blacklist ( big donors to the Tory party I believe).

    If you’ve never read it mate. Read his biography. Brilliant. Not just about his imprisonment. ( which was a reight stitch up) . But his career.
    Best biography I’ve ever read.

    This is the first time I have heard of the Shrewsbury worker’s fight.
    I was 16 in 72 and obviously this story passed me by. I’m sure it would have been reported here but maybe not widely.
    Great for those who survived and sad for those who never lived for this day but really it should never have come about.
