Should be nowhere near the first team based on that cameo. The lad can't even get the basics right. How many times did he get spun and left for dead? He then resorted to backing off and giving their player(s) the freedom of Oakwell.
Took one for the team to get booked and then could have easily been shown a second yellow not long after when he got beat (again) and tugged at the Reading player's shirt. He needs loaning out in January.

He is far too slow and was a liability. He was lucky to not get a second yellow for his shirt pull and at that point I would have subbed him off. You wouldn't have known he was fresh legs with how easy Gunter and others did him time and time again.

I feel sorry for him at times but I really don’t think he is good enough at all for this level yet.... positionally not very aware

Playing him at full back was a masterstroke.

Even if L2 team will take him and guarantee him some game time then hopefully that will help him in the long run. As you say, positionally he is all over the place. He needs to go and concentrate on the basics including positional awareness and the rest will hopefully come together from that.

It’s like having Lee Crooks back. He’s a liability at the back but occasionally looks comfortable in midfield.

One of our worst signings for many a year. I dread to think what we paid for him.....on a long contract too.

I believe he will be a good player. But at 19 Sibbick is the youngest senior pro player in our squad... he joined us having played a dozen or so games for AFC Wimbledon in L1, and thrown straight into the Championship... Add to that he is playing in a team low on confidence, lacking in experience, all finding it hard to adjust to life in the championship...

A fringe / development player he is. Starting XI player in the Championship he is not.

For me he will be a ball playing centre back, or potentially defensive mid... what he is not and will never be is championship fullback... he does not have the pace or look comfortable in the role!

He was hung out to dry last night. We all know he is incapable of playing at either RB or LB. Odour should have taken Williams’ spot & Sibbick should have replaced Dougall.

Send him back to Wimbledon and add him to the Worst Barnsley XI of the last 10 years.

Then leaving him as the principal defender when we had corners etc. was rank bad management in my opinion - one quick break away from being down to 10 men.

Should never have signed him in the first place.

What were the recruitment team thinking?

Same could be said of Schmidt and Wilks.

I don’t blame him for last night, he should not have been brought on at left back. He can’t use his left foot.

Should’ve either brought Odour on or put Jordan Williams at left back who’s obviously not a natural there but did a good job against Leeds keeping Pablo Hernandez quiet for 70 minutes until he went off injured

Dont think many are positionally aware in our defence and those in front of em either. Dunt help when we are on our, how many formations this season.

Yep. Not blaming Sibbick at all for any mistakes he made last night when he clearly uncomfortable playing Left back AND we had other options to put in but Struber decided to stick Sibbick there.

Struber was at fault last night, poor game management and poor substitutions.
