I've just seen the highlights and it certainly appears we had the chances to finish Doncaster off on a few occasions.

McCourt had a couple of great dribbling runs at their defence but he really has to remember he is no longer playing for Celtic and won't get penalties quite so easily.

Talking of penalties, you can't expect anything from a game when you miss penalties.

Bad day at the office but the pressure now starts to build. Can't afford to drop any points in the coming games. To do so will see us get that wee bit isolated.

    Over to you Flicker.

It's been 'over to you' for a few weeks now, I reckon. Flicker has had all the assurances he's asked for - arguably more than any other Manager before him (relatively speaking). He's talked vociferously about not wanting to fight for scraps at the bottom of the table. Yet here we find ourselves. Again.

On face value, the majority of Reds fans are seeing and saying the same things: the urgency, work rate and positive forward play from last term has disappeared. Even though Flicker seems to believe they are all still at the heart of our play. We've essentially switched from 3-5-2 to 4-4-2, which to many is at the root of the problem, and has caused inevitable imbalance throughout the whole squad. Flicker talks constantly about the ability to switch formations - yet he has stubbornly stuck to one - and it is costing us dearly.

Watkins & Mansford will definitely not want relegation on their CVs. One is a hugely esteemed Chairman, and the other is the new kid on the block, out to make a name for himself at the Executive tier.

I don't think we should pull the trigger just yet. There's a huge way to go and many points still to play for. I also think he's earned the right to turn it round and has a genuine buy in from the squad. We also saw how horrible the recruitment process was, and the view that we could attract this long list of proven Championship managers is just a fantasy. For every manager we sack after 12 months, we become more of a poisoned chalice.

But from last year's experience, I don't think the Board will remain patient for too much longer. If we're bottom three after Christmas, I think he'll be gone by January. I just sincerely hope they have someone lined up to move straight in, if they do.

Yep bad day all round mate, players not focused in fact on one incident where their keeper should have been challenged pederson was wiping his boots. Wrong substitutions at wrong times cywca should have been on much earlier IMO and poor finishing let us down against a very poor but stubborn Donny side, our points and goal difference tally should really look a Lot healthier this morning
