'Ar lass keeps having probs with her mobile/sim card.

She had a Nokia and it kept switching itself off during texts, calls, or even just when idle. Luckily o2 swapped it for her and she got a Sony Ericsson instead. The problem has started again, it keeps switching itself off randomly.
Starting to wonder whether her sim card is faulty and it is causing it.
Has anyone ever had this problem?

Does not sound like a SIM issue mate. Is the phone giving any kind of error message? Is it simply turning off? You could test the phone if you want to prove it by using another 02 SIM in it?Do u have 1?

No error message at all mate, just switches off and she has to turn it back on herself. Maybe she's just unlucky with phones! She's getting afree sim to try.
    Thanks anyway

I had that problem with a Nokia once

It was a poor connection to the battery to when you moved the phone it lost power

Cant see it being the sim - that wouldnt cause the phone to power down, you just get an insert sim error message
