Are football fans not allowed to criticise their team or individual players if they consider them not good enough?
RE: Since it became obvious that blind support is the only kind of support that counts Seriously, I think Wroe seriously weakens our team, yet I get accused of slagging homegrown players off. Despite the fact four of my favourite players are Flinders, Austin, Williams and Tonge. I'm just generally concerned about BFC and want us to do as well as possible. Oh, and it also appears that because I work on Oakwell 1575 that I'm not allowed an opinion.

We all are. Some of us are called negative because we don't rate players like Barry Conlon and we want better players. We are also wrong as we dare to question the strategies that the club employ in various areas. So the best fans are obviously those who clap owt and say nowt and are prepared to pay more and more for the priviledge

Yep.. just had a flick through my season ticket book and I can not find anything that says I've got an opinion, just a load of tickets with the same seat number on em. ff Don't worry, we'll be 4th by satdi neet... (Y)
RE: opinions My point has always been that everyone is allowed to have an opinion BUT when we lose and you see titles like "fecking disgraceful" gives the impression that we have been on a bad run etc instead of one defeat and then they go off on one slating everyone left right and center! I also get the impression that some people are happy to see us fail (not want to) if only it means they can say they were right about so and so or something previously said. I think nardellio is a lazy sod, who stands and points to his feet if hew does not get a pin point pass or anything with a foot of him! thats my opinion of him yet fans seem to love him becasue of his debut still?! And others just get abuse for the sake of it, i keep saying it but people boo'd Chopra when he first joined for 2 reasons, the first becasue he was a paul hart signing and the second because he kept fans fav Nards out of the team, yet who is the better player! Now everyone loves him and wants him back! Criticism is all well and good if it is required, but not just for any nitty thing!
