There's already a cable coming in for the Telewest telly signal. Do we know if the Sky engineers would be able to join the cable from the dish to that so I don't have to get the floorboards up again or is it an entirely different type and I'm talking technical ***** again?

Any reason why they can't just attach the new wire to the end of the old one and pull it through (if the the wires aren't compatible I mean).

That'd save taking the boards up; unless of course the old one is secured underneath the boards ... in which case you should be ashamed for doing the job so properly in the first place!

    Not an option mate.

I went all contemporary chic and stuffed everything under the boards. There's a box of some kind down there.

Ne' mind anyway. I might find that screwdriver that disappeared around the time the boards were last up.

I would imagine the cable belongs to telewest, dont think sky will use it.
They will probably make a f*** *** hole in your your wall, drilling from inside to outside with a MKIIA, which will knock half the brick face off, they will then stick this brick back on with silicon.
This is the usual install method anyway.

I see. Well I'm not going to let them

I'm going to let them fit the dish, I'm going to make them a coffee and tell them they might as well bring the box in with them and then I'm going to set the dogs on them.
