Must have been, it is a well known fact that Hill had the smallest budget in the entire Football League. so small he could only sign up a first team squad of 36.

Just to add I am being entirely flippant and in no way is this post meant to be taken seriously !!!

Some people go to school, or their parents think they do, then they go off alone or with a friend. Schools call this truancy (say trew-an-see). Kids call it 'wagging school', 'skiving off', and all sorts of other names. What do you call it where you live?

I found this on t'internet Mr C but obviously I'd never do such a thing 

He just calls it dogging, or if there's a large group he calls it swinging

Yes it was, bigger wage bill than Robins and the fees of Davey.

£6.2 million wage bill, probably smaller this season. The real Pep couldn't have done much with that. Smiley thingy

£9 million wage bill, 300k for Matt Mills, £1.15 million for Sharp. He hardly did it on peanuts, they also won promotion with players on silly money, Sean Thornton for one. Ryan was throwing money at it back then, until they realised they still wouldn't get the crowds once they won promotion.
