Surely if the ref missed it during the game, he can't be punished retrospectively, unless the referee now puts it in his report? Isn't that the case?
thought you could get trial by tv now because the ref missed it, if the ref had say booked him they couldnt do anything but because the incident wasnt seen he could be in trouble

The rule is... That if the referee saw it and gave nothing at the time, nothing can be done. Anything not seen by the referee can be brought to trial by replays. I'm not convinced there was anything in it though to be honest.
Agreed. First time I'd seen him and...... .........I can absolutely see why he splits opinion so much on here. Great touches and tackles interspersed with shockingly loose marking and some ludicrously ill-timed challenges.
