I didn’t get to watch the match due to getting myself embroiled in a cake making marathon but heard from my brother in law Geoff that we played splendidly.

well done the reds, a positive improvement on this time last year!

what’s everyone having for lunch tomorrow?

George, while I was happy with a point today, I'm asking this with the deepest sincerity - is your brother-in-law on crack?

George mate , welcome back, can't tell you how much I am looking forward to your opinion of the spring flowers.
For lunch tomorrow I am thinking of pheasant stuffed by peasants ( or is it the other way round) along with Yorkshires and thick gravy plus in celebration of your sudden reappearance I will probably crack a jar of the finest olives and swill the lot down with a bottle of chateauneuf de pap or possibly a bottle of vintage dandelion and burdock!

I'll be having a takeaway 1/2 a packet of biscuits, 1/2 a chocolate sponge cake & 3 pints of cola. According to some one here

A Dorito tri-saveur platter with Cheesestring garnish, followed by a milk chocolate hobnob roulade.

The remains of yesterday's takeaway pizza, warmed up. Don't despair though George, it is a chicken breast and pesto pizza on a sourdough base.

    Rebonjour Georgy boy.
For today we have a table d'hote menu of boeuf, pommes de terre, petits pois, brocoli et carrottes.
Perhaps un pudding de yorkshire avec le gravie.
Accompanied by a cheeky Naked Angels red.
By the way, is Geoff Georgio's brother?

Believe it or not we're having Salad Nicoise. Possibly with a glass of Macon Villages.
    It were that or Coddle.

Tally-ho old chap. It's good of you to rejoin us, in the most peculiar of times.

I'm sure both yourself and your brother-in-law will concur, it is another point in the right direction.

Due to my late arising, I shall be having elevenses. Today's fare consists of smoked salmon and poached eggs, on a brioche bun. Topped with a squeeze of lemon and a dusting of freshly cropped chives.

    Good day to you, sir.

Lady Fat and I will be sitting down at 12 sharp to enjoy what is arguably the finest dish our Butler has ever produced: Viz a vie: Crispy haggis and potato pancake with a spinach salad and warm whisky and bacon dressing. And to follow: a deep fried Mars Bar each, all washed down with a bottle of Mr John Walker's Black Label Whisky.

I've just asked Mrs Goat what we're having. I'm not sure what she means, but it could be something Welsh..
