Just to recap: Last January Linton Brown gets the sack. No reason given. Hecky then left to answer the phone at the same time as doing the training sessions. Months go by - still no new CEO. Then to everyone's surprise - it's a young French guy. As the potential new owners have already got a football club in France - one can only assume the potential new owners have had at least a say in this appointment. The summer transfer window opens - and Hecky in his interviews is complaining that not enough players are being brought in quickly enough. When the players are brought in - it's obvious that recruitment has been good in some areas such as defence - but poor in other areas such as the strike force. Then the 2018 January transfer window opens - and Hecky in interviews is complaining again that not enough players are being brought in quickly enough. The CEO is a pivotal part of the club. Question is: We seem to have eager owners willing to push the boat out and bring in decent players - coupled with the best manager in the football league - have we got the right CEO that is capable of linking these two parts of the club together by making sure the right players are brought in on time? In my opinion - the jury is very much out at the moment.
That, if assuming a 4-4-2 would be a first team squad of 33. Don’t forget you wanted about 8 wingers as well. That’s a wage bill of £8.5m a year if an average of £5k was taken - would be more as assume you would like proven championship players as well. So first team wages of £8.5m against a turnover of £9m. Given the fact we have circa 75 non football related staff and 100 non first team football activity related staff, coupled with security, maintenance, academy, marketing expenses, along with depreciation and other ad hoc expenses you would have Barnsley losing millions upon millions every year. Thank Christ sensible people run our club. And why are you starting another thread on this?
Get off his back, post after post, you haven't a clue of his daily routine. The guys moved here, into the town, not swanning off into some of the cities like the players, he's put himself right in the thick of it. It's a different country for him, he's a young guy that comes with a good pedigree from a much bigger club than ours. You complain every January transfer window. Well it's been: Wilson/Mansford/Cryne Johnson/Mansford/Cryne Hecky/Mansford/Cryne Hecky/Brown/Cryne Hecky/Ganaye/Lee/Conway All those different combinations over the last few windows and the same thing happens does this not tell you it's out of their hands?
Nudger had the chance to ask GG anything he liked at the supporters trust meeting. As it turned out his only meaningful contribution was knocking over Hemsies drink with his size 14 feet.... and to be honest was probably more of a worthwhile contribution than anything that he would have said.
The CEOs all had one thing in common. Cryne had the last word. They were club employees not someone acting independently.
You say ...... I wanted 8 wingers. That's a lie - so when I saw that I couldn't be bothered reading the rest of that rubbish.
There is 0% chance that this is true. You are showing your naivety again. And did you really need a 500th thread on this subject?
Another lie. I left at half time during that meeting. Up to half time I had asked more questions than anyone else there. What was your contribution???
Haha. I said your only meaningful contribution was knocking Hemsie drink over. Think again. Just like your posts - quantity doesn’t quality make.
You say .......'You complain every January transfer window'. I complained last January window - when most on here didn't listen to what I was saying - but I was proved right (again). Please post proof of other complaints in other January windows. I'll save you the time - there isn't any - because you are posting a lie. To add to other lies posted on this thread.
