Only in the eyes of the racists, who are a minority. Just ignore them and if you can't, take solace in the fact that you're better than them.

Had a spat with our friends who organised the rally a few weeks ago for the attack that allegedly happened - I'm a left wing traitor for pointing out not all crime is a result of immigration

I had a similar discussion with a colleague the other night. We were discussing extremists from both sides of the political spectrum and how to tackle bigotry and intolerance. We concluded that intolerance of the intolerant was a step in the right direction.

Less well known is the paradox of tolerance: Unlimited tolerance must lead to the disappearance of tolerance.

If we extend unlimited tolerance even to those who are intolerant, if we are not prepared to defend a tolerant society against the onslaught of the intolerant, then the tolerant will be destroyed, and tolerance with them

Or, as Garth Marenghi so memorably put it, "sometimes you have to be a bigot to bring down bigger bigots."

In my experience the most racist people I have come across are South Asians, Blacks and Orientals.

    Example.
Probably the most racist people in the world are the Japanese.
I don't think I've heard a Chinese person say one good thing about the Japanese and this is basically because of the Japanese racist views.

We haven't a problem in this country compared to other areas of the world. Britain is probably the most liberal nation on earth.
So why some people keep bringing up this topic on this message board is beyond me.

All I can think of is that some on here are trying to link the level of intelligence with being racist?
That is to say - 'I am not racist so I must be intelligent - you are racist so you must be stupid'.

Main argument is that I'm uneducated - they then get annoyed when you point out spelling mistakes and grammatical errors - they're not very good with irony

i think it's fair to say you just proved beyond all doubt, that there is a link between racism and stupidity.
