    I know he is a hero to most on here and, yes he is a good shot stopper, BUT how many times have teams put the ball in the corner of the goal this season and he can't save it? ?????

    Best starting afresh next season.

    In their half time report 5-live said Steele was keeping us in this division with 5 top class saves.

    I for one hope he's here next season but I actually think he'll be at a different championship club.

    He was man of the match today. I don't think some people commenting were at the game today. Steele did his best to keep us in this division.

    Echo everyone else. Steele had a brilliant game today and it wasn't just a string of great saves. He was brave came out well and did everything you could expect..

    Luke Steele is 1 of the very few Championship quality players we have. Our left back, whole midfield and upfront is whats sent us down this year.

    Wrong the whole team got us relegated. That includes steele. However today isnt a day to bash steele after that performance.

    Steele outstanding today,
    you could tell it hurt, came up to fans at end and got more applause than anyone,
    speaks volumes doesn't it....them that could be arsed going know how well he did..........
    A few uninterested in first half, second half different and we were the better team.....esp when JOB came on

    Have to disagree. He was outstanding today. 4/5 excellent saves in first half kept us in the game. Many more worse players than Steele in this seasons side.

    Still think he's carrying an injury tbh, hence goals like Derby's where he just seemed to leave the ball going to the corner rather than try to dive full stretch for it.

    Steele is one of a very small number of players I'll be disappointed to lose.
