I don't think today's game changed that much, really. I can actually see Norwich grabbing 4 or 6 points from their last two games. Home to Reading and away to Charlton is not exactly mission impossible. Had they beaten Ipswich it probably would have meant relegation for us. As some of you have pointed out, Coventry have beaten us comfortably during the last seasons, so I will be surprised if we get something from that game. I can see us grabbing a point at home vs Wolves, but only if they exaggerate the promotion party this week. And if Plymouth are still not safe for the last game it will be a nailbiter and they will have the advantage of playing at home. How many goals can we get from those last three games? Probably one or two, so it's all up to our defence really. Sorry for being so pessimistic, I really hope we stay up, but I've had a very bad feeling about this since the Forest game. Anyway, if we do go down, it's time to sell half our team and give homegrown talent a chance. I can't see them doing a worse job than our current squad..
Make your mind up! "I don't think today's game changed that much, really." "Had they beaten Ipswich it probably would have meant relegation for us." So now it doesn't, so therefore it changed things!
RE: Make your mind up! Yeah, I know.. I'm so nervous I started talking jibberish. What I meant was that we're still in trouble even though Norwich lost the game.
RE: Make your mind up! Agreed that we are still in trouble, we'd have been in deeper **** had they won though.
The way i see it is... if we pick up points against Coventry, Wolves and Plymouth, then we will stay up regardless of what Norwich will do. Can't see Norwich getting more than 4 points, leaving us needing 4, win tuesday and a draw saturday will be enough imho.
Be positive Coventry at home: won 8, DRAWN 7, LOST 6.
We should be looking to add to the last two categories. They're not to be feared at home from these stats.
