    Possibly a deep but justified feeling of despondency that anytime we get anywhere near achieving something our entire spine disintegrates and we have to start again?

    could be that.

    I don’t think you’re alone. It’s an half arsed first pump when we score now for me. And I’m not as disappointed as I used to when we lose.

    One day we will all fall back in love with it again. Hopefully soon.
