Seems as though both strikers have come in for a bit of stick recently on here?

Personally i like Hayes, think he is skillful, works hard (at times) links the midfield up well, and has a good overall game. Richards is the workhorse of the two and in this league it would be impossible to play two Hayes or Hayes and Nards together just becasue you do not always get ball to feet in this league and you do need a target man who can take on the big defenders.

Yes Hayes does not go for headers, it is not one of his strengths. I think the ones giving him some abuse are the ones who want Nards in the team, yet i can see Nards making many headers either becasue it is not his game either.

However one big difference between the two was against Scnuthorpe at home, for the 3rd goal Hayes had the ball in a position where he could have gone for goal but laid in richards for a easy strike, where as i Nards would have gone for glory becasue he wants the goals (nothing wrong with that just pointing out the difference)

i agree with you about hayes, good player with loads of skill but he lacks bottle and will not fight for the ball, but his good points far outweigh the bad ones,so for me he stay's in the team.richards has to play, yes he was poor in the second half yesterday but in the majority of games i think he has been ok,you need at least one forward who is prepared to do the spadework up front and richards is the only forward we have who is prepared to do it. nardiello is a bone idol selfish b*stard who needs to realise he aint at manure anymore and doesnt have a divine right to be in the team,no question about his talent and he is the best finisher at the club, but needs a rocket up his arse and quick.</p>
