500k sounds about right the way we undervalue players ...it would have been double that if Peterborough was selling him ...we have our pants pulled down every time...too eager to get shut ...they accept the first offer that comes in, in my opinion ....BarnsleyFC the bargin basement of the football pyramid

I'm willing to give Cole and Iseka a clean slate for this season on the expectation that we will actually do some attacking and actually see what they can do when the ball is in the final third.

Who was going to pay more than 500k for a striker who has scored 4 goals in 28 and 7 from open play the season before? We were never going to get decent money for cauley.

It's like a throwback to the Don's days. Any player you want, 500k, take your pick.

Due to the market collapsing though it's player wages and not the transfer fees that are the issue. Clubs will gladly accept 500k to get a player off the wage bill. I think that's been the case with Woodrow.

Typical How some readily accept that £500k is the figure, and how some believe that’s all he’s worth. We simply don’t know the figure or what the deal entails. What I know is that we’ve lost a dam good player (especially at L1 level), but also understand that he has to come off the wage bill.
