Interesting use of the word 'serve' when talking about who someone plays for. Also used a photo of Neil Lennon at the start! If Styles does leave I'd love him to go to Celtic. Great experience and if it worked out for him he'd come back at a really good level in England when in his mid 20's with his best years ahead of him.
Celtic just seem to stockpile players. Took a young pkayer from Weds last season and they didn't get so much as a look in under either manager this season, out on loan he went. I'd be aiming to do a Hourihane or Mowatt if I was him, go to a club that looks to.get into the Prem.
He’ll end up at a Champ side with a bit of money to spend who aren’t gonna finish top six. A few do come to mind. I would have said West Brom if Ismael was still there but wouldn’t surprise me if he ended up at Blades, Boro or Forest as well. Can see it being one of those.
We know Forest were in for him in January like NYRB. Both will be back this Summer, plus others. Even if we do the unthinkable and stay up I think two or three will be moved on.
They have to be to start to balance the books. Be a new team next year with no Styles at least one of Helik or Mads leaving and the 4 loan signings gone. Hope we get the business done early, stable management and a good pre-season because 6 new players into the first 11 is already too much change.
Two of the loan signings could realistically end up staying. Both Madds and Helik could depart, but definitely the former due to the contract situation - although if we stayed up I could see a contract extension being put in front of Helik. Would depend on what offers were out there and what the 'bouncebackability' of the Championship transfer market is like.
You seen much of this Jalo play mate? Heard he is banging them in for youth teams but must admit I don't watch any of their games at all.
I think all the games are still behind closed doors? Not that I'd go and watch any in this weather. I did have a little spell where I took my work laptop and sat and 'watched' whilst doing some work stuff at the same time. Halcyon days. I just know he's really highly rated, but just 16 (I think). Whether he gets included in a match day squad before the end of the season will probably be determined by how long we stretch the season out.
What's happened to Marsh? Is he injured again? Would've thought he'd be in the matchday squads still, with Adeboyejo and Iseka missing.
Styles is too slow of mind and movement to ever cut it above League One/Lower Champ in my opinion. Any bid circa 1.5 million and I’d be snatching their hands off.
Styles ran Brittain close for the worst player tonight. I hope there's something left in him because he's had little impact this season. I can't see what the coach thinks he's getting from Styles with the role he is playing/being asked to play.
