The ground does not have to remain in trust it needs to be owned by whoever owns the club.

I remember bullish things being said about the litigation around Daniel Stendel.

Not strictly true though. Some know a lot. A few including us fans know a bit but not everything. Of course people will fill in the gaps of knowledge with a lot of speculation, distortion and invention. Im sure the many versions of the truth will be talked about and all the various angles.

Except it isn’t BFC that is being taken to task, it is BFC Investments Ltd.

If James Cryne is still on the board, surely his position is now untenable.

It’s a boardroom battle and they each have their positions. Bottle line it’s about money and influence and who owns what. As far as the fans are concerned it’s about who will maintain the ground better and making sure we don’t take their eye off the ball with new signings. So far I’m happy with the additions to the back room staff and looking forward to new players to implement their ideas.

The options to buy might be 3 people.

The court case isn’t about the ground option by the looks of it, it’s a lack of payment to Cryne from the rest. The rest may unfold as part of the court case though.

thats a given, there’s a third party who will come out in the court. The court case is about payments, driven by the ground option

I think our owners missed the chance to buy the ground option in the timescale given and now complaining about it.

I'm currently reading that! In fact as soon as I've read through here and decided i haven't a clue what's going on at Oakwell I'll be firing up the kindle for the next chapter. :)

I absolutely love Robin Hobb's books. I know Fitz is a bit melodramatic but they are my absolute favourites.

Edit: Can you guess who said it? (If you've not already got to that part).

Maybe a local journo will make the effort to contact the relevent parties namely BMBC, the Crynes and the holders of the 80% Conway Lee etc and ask them what the **** is going on why it's got to this state and what are the intentions of all parties. I'm sure most fans want to know who all the parties are that want to own all or part of Oakwell and why the want to own it.

I must be thick because I read the statement and I still don’t have a clue what either side of the story is :D
