Does anyone know what happens with bookings at this part of the season. Mads is on 9. Woodrow and Styles 7. Mowatt 6. Has the cut off passed m
Assume there was a cut off for 10 yellows, just like there was for 5. Otherwise, Mads needs to get a good cynical block in on Saturday to get his ban out of the way before the play offs. Think Styles had a one match ban for reaching 5 earlier in the season. As well as Helik and Mads being banned after the sendings off against Reading
From the FA https://www.thefa.com/-/media/files...nformation-for-players---2020-21-english.ashx page 5 The cutoff for 10 yellows is 37 games. As we’ve passed that they’re ok. They’d have to get 15 yellows before the end of the regular season, which is impossible they just have to avoid red cards.
This, along with possible injuries including aggravating little niggles they may have is why I would rest as many players as the rules will allow for our last 2 league games, assuming Norwich are already Champs when we play them.
As long as we don't get battered at PNE I'm not bothered. I think that will be the more difficult game of the two. Weird not giving a toss what we do in our next two games.
It certainly is, even if we’d struggled this season at the other end of the table it still would’ve seemed strange going in relaxed. I just hope we don’t lose any key players in these last games when it could’ve been avoided
You have to maintain the spine for momentum purposes. However, game time needs to be managed. I'd stick with Collins in goal but maybe swap Sollbauer with Halme and Helik with Sibbick for a half. The same with midfield. Play Mowatt with Styles and bring in Jordan Williams. Maybe give Brittain a rest for a half and put Styles back to wingback. Play Woodrow for a half and Dike for the other half etc.
Good call, putting Halme in defence, if Kane is available he could do with a couple of starts, give Victor and Chaplin starts as well.
