They've protected their industry such that you legally can't. Working in architecture I wish the RIBA had done the same.
There's nothing stopping someone buying/selling a company without legal advice. It would be ill advised but they could do it.
This poster Van Basten has been on about this date for weeks, Is that you Chien? 你好 http://barnsleyfc.org.uk/search/787446/
What have you heard then Van Basten? Is there a council meeting taking place with prospective new owners?
Correct. I know somebody who did his own conveyancing on his house purchase. Said it took him absolutely ages! I'm sure when all the time is added up for a non-professional doing it, suddenly the £750 paid to the solicitor looks very good value.
It's good value because as well as getting the service you get the security of being able to sue someone if there's a **** up. I'm a solicitor and I wouldn't even think about doing my own conveyancing.

If it is on Friday 17th November at 7pm, I am not sure who will be at that meeting from Barnsley Council as it is the Pride of Barnsley awards that evening, with most of the councillors attending. Stephanie Peacock MP for Barnsley East is attending, and I would think Dan Jarvis
It'll be the solicitors of all parties I would say with Mr Lee, Mr Cryne and Sir Houghton, I would have thought it was nowt to do with Dan and Steph.
Great idea by them. Low in cost and situated in a stand where thousands can see. Not every Barnsley fan has internet access, so it's good to see these people can still be kept in the loop.
