As far as I can see the Talk 3 option, where you get unlimited inclusive landline calls, local and national, day and night, is 12.99 per month, not 9.99</p> Add the 11 pound line rental and that is 23.99 per month, not 20.99 as advertised.</p> Features such as caller display, call waiting etc are extra like BT.</p> http://media.phonehouse.com/mediaserver/servlet/AssetServer?id=PDFS149262&ver=1&RD=YES</p> Also while the broadband subscription is free, the usage isn't. You pay 1p a minute at all times you are online. </p> I don't think this is made clear on the adverts (for those of us who get completely free internet with a minimum telephone call spend of 15 quid per month)</p> Something else I've spotted is that Landline calls to your Talk Talk mobile are supposedly free, but not according to this document!</p>
Their phones were on hold for 2 1/2 hours yesterday.</p> </p>It nice to know that its only a pay as you go service . Wanadoo has a package which does the same thing, 1p a minute offpeak and 3.95p between 6 am and 6 pm. This is dial up though not Broadband, expect changes b4 Friday.
Looking on the actual Talk Talk pages It definitely states the price is £11 for line rental and £9.99 for the Calling plan with free broadband ( + free calls to landlines in UK and various international numbers) see their page ... http://www.talktalk.co.uk/talktalk/....TALKTALK.STATIC.BROADBAND.FOURBOXES.OFFEREXP HOWEVER - THE ATTACHED DOCUMENT TO THE WEBPAGE (Which is in the original post on this thread) WITH ALL PRICING EFFECTIVE 11/04/2006 SAYS £12.99 Someone has made a mistake - I am guessing its on the all prices pdf document but you'd want to be sure before signing up. I cant find any mention of charging for the Free interner - though am a bit puzzled by their fair usage policy - either you have 40G or you havent - I cant see how they can say unfair usage if ypou stay below the 40G limit.
Internet call charges... ...are detailed under 'Talk Talk Specific', sub title 'Talk Talk Internet', just above 'Calls to Emergency Services' near the bottom of the first panel.</p>
