    Why can't he see that the problems at Chelsea aren't AVB's fault. It's the fault of every manager since 06 and the board have to take blame too.

    At chelsea they haven't been developing a squad since 2006 and it's caught up with them.

    You look at all the other big and best clubs. They have Old players but they have young players too that are learning and will be ready to replace the older players when they are set to retire.

    Look at Real Madrid, They have Carvalho (32/33) but they also have Albiol (25/26) and then they are blooding Varane (18/19).

    Chelsea have let all there old players grow old together without constant squad development.

    But only Sturridge is ready to play.

    You can't play a 18 year old a lot.

    Non of them play games. only Sturridge.

    No, they actually play games at Madrid or have played games.
    Varane played 5 league games this season so far. He's started games Home in front of 80,000.
    On Wikipedia it says hes played in 10 games. At 18.

    Both the Belgian lad and McEachran have played more league games for their club than this Varane.

    Lukaku is an established international. I agree with your main point though, Chelsea Pensioners. AVB seems to be signing for the future but will he get chance to see it through?

    You've just made his point for him - Sturridge only regularly playing this year, Villas Boas signed Lukaku and McEchran's out on loan.

    So what Hemsworth said is bang on. Villas Boas only just starting to try and change it.
