We have a left back George Smith. He has the makings of a fine player. We also have/had wingers unfortunately they are/were fat and *****

He didn't sign smith though, he's been forced to play him as he had nobody else in the squad. He knew Jennings and treacy were unfit too didn't he? I'd hope he did anyway

Hes a striker isn't he? He played right wing in the friendlies though. Interesting fact; his debut was in the reverse fixture at home to crawley

Cheerio Dale Jennings. If a player with his talent can't make that squad, there's something wrong. What a waste.

What I can't believe is, we're criticising Bunny and Hecky's team selection already!

Or maybe he was the one Wilson slotted after Tuesday night?*

    * Pure speculation in response to RedStar's thread yesterday

If Lita has a ten minute kip in the centre circle he'll be more awake than Hemmings tends to be!

    3-0 win. Easy

Well, he's got plenty to prove, and an opportunity to prove it. His absence from the team has been a complete mystery. Danny always spoke well of him, but never really gave him a chance. Let's see if he gets a run in the team...

As much as I like Ramage, he has been injured an awful lot. Danny knew this when he renewed his loan.

I'm pretty sure the plan was for Smith to be first choice and we got a loan player in to cover when he got injured which was right As we want to ptomote our own. Jennings and treacy should tear up league 1 and we didn't have the cash to have another 2 on stand by

I think Danny always intended to play him, but he got injured pre-season. Joe Dudgeon was signed at short notice to replace him. That's how I remember it at least.

Agree with this. The other thing is that he is a known name, when other teams/fans see his name on the team sheet, it makes them think. Other teams are more likely to put more men on him than they would Hemming, giving others more space to run through. Maybe. All speculation, of course, but you cant only think about his contribution so far.

We are playing a team who have lost three of their last six games by at least three goals. A team who look massively like being relegated. A team with a manager with a record of five points from twenty four since taking over there. Crawley are there for the taking yet the same tactics that led to Wilson being sacked have been continued and we are on course for an unwanted ZERO points from 21 away from home record.
