techy help please...

    i am having probs with windows movie maker, i have xp and service pack 2, but the programme always stops working. are there any alternaties out there, or is there anything i can do to remedy movie maker?

    I only ever got it working with Firewire, not USB cable. Its still buggy and I don't use it anymore.
